FIFA eClub World Cup 2020 groups.
Players will compete in a 1v1 and 2v2 format, starting with four groups of six on the first day. During the group stages, each team will play one another three times: a 1v1 on both the PS4 and Xbox, and then a 2v2 match-up — each fixture-set will therefore have a maximum of nine points up for grabs. With regards to the 2v2 fixtures, each team have decided their preferred console, and so, a draft will determine what console will be used.
The top four sides in each group will later progress to a single-elimination round of 16 that will be played over two games: a 1v1 and 2v2.
What happens if there is a tie after two games?
In the event of a tie, a final 1v1 match will be played to decide the winner.
The cash prize pool will be distributed to teams depending on their final placements.
As well as a cash prize pool, as always, competitors will also receive Global Series Points, which unlike the cash prize pool, will be distributed to the players themselves.
