Following four qualifiers this past month, Warzone players will compete for their share of a prize pool that is currently worth over £190!

Mad About Gaming presents: Monday Madness Warzone Dash finals, powered by IGGalaxy!
Mad About Gaming is a newly formed entity under the Mixtape Madness umbrella. For those of you who are new to the IGGalaxy ecosystem, we partnered with Mixtape Madness in December 2019.
After a series of promising conversations prior to reaching a partnership agreement, it was clear that the scope for collaboration between our respective brands was huge; who doesn’t love esports and music?
The overlap is significant, to say the least!
Entry into gaming and esports, the core team at Mixtape Madness maintained, had been a long-term motivation. Therefore, Mixtape Madness leveraging IGGalaxy’s beta seemed like the perfect way to activate them into the space.
Our social competitive gaming and esports platform, IGGalaxy, is now coming to fruition as we’ve seen other partners in For G4mer Sake and LimeJuice host tournaments of their own, with the former supporting with esports events for the likes of Celtic Esports, professional footballer Ryan Bennett, and most recently English League One division side, Northampton Town F.C!
And, with the imminent rollout of IGGalaxy’s tournament creation module (TCM), we will see further brands utilise the feature and wider components to IGGalaxy as a means of engaging and growing their respective audiences.

We have heard of many instances within the esports space of organisations, teams and players not receiving prize pools that they are eligible for. Whether it is competition organisers refusing to pay participants, or indeed organisations and teams not paying their esports players, it is an all too familiar occurrence that is detrimental to the long-term sustainability of the competitive landscape and integrity of the industry.

Competitive gaming is by no means anything new, but it has only recently gained mainstream acclimation. In fact, competitive gaming has emerged from relative obscurity to become a formalised, fully fledged industry in its own right as revenues for esports surpassed the billion-dollar mark for the first-time last year!
