Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 is now live on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, offering Call of Duty players a new Battle Pass, as well as new content, maps, and many more rewards.

According to the above Tweet, players that COD cast in a private game on Modern Warfare’s Season 2 map Atlas Superstore have the ability to explore the area, where they can potentially find a rough version of a possible new battle royale map. Looking at the map in full, Season 2 may offer the potential for 15 different locations, as well as six major points of interest.
Following the Modern Warfare update, a number of players reported seeing an option on the main menu labelled ‘Classified’ — albeit greyed out — leaving us wondering whether this is part of the new battle royale mode!

The bonus XP event for Call of Duty Modern: Warfare and Warzone has been extended for another day following issues with the event over the past weekend. Call of Duty players will now be able to earn double XP until tomorrow morning when Call of Duty Season 3 goes live.
